A growing furniture manufacturing business based in Chiplun is seeking funds to reduce existing debt and expand operations across Maharashtra. The company operates from its own manufacturing unit developed on leased land measuring 1,850 sq m, with a constructed area of approximately 17,000 sq ft. The installed production capacity is 50 beds and 50 wardrobes per day, while current production stands at around 20 beds and 20 wardrobes per day. Sales are evenly split, with 50% coming from its own branded products and 50% through contract manufacturing for a well-established furniture brand. The business has a strong distribution network of 60+ retailers. Existing loan liabilities of around INR 3 crore will be streamlined, enabling capacity utilization and geographic expansion.
