Start-up For Manufacturing Of Sawdust Into Briquettes Requires Seed Funding

We are looking at Angel Investors to invest in our new start-up for manufacture of Biomass Briquettes in Maharashtra as a greenfield project. We would be setting up a plant which would manufacture Briquettes from Paddy Straw and Sawdust. These are available in 3 sizes 8mm,18mm and 90 mm diameter.. They have following advantages over coal 1.Less ash generation only 2% against 40% of coal. 2.low price 50% cost saving. 3.less cleaning and ease of handling. 4.low smoke generation. 5.Same caloricific value as coal. 6.100% coal substitute. With so many advantages it makes sense for coal using industries to switch to briquettes. Govt of India is making mandatory for thermal power plant to use 20% briquettes instead of coal. We had seen a location for factory setup in Palghar and also identified some distributors for sale in market.
